The Judgment Day have become a force to be reckoned with on the WWE main roster and Finn Balor teased in recent weeks that the group would be looking to expand following WrestleMania 39.
WWE recently called some fresh faces up to the main roster during the draft and this week JD McDonagh made his debut on Raw. McDonagh competed in a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, and after he was eliminated he brutally attacked Dolph Ziggler.
McDonagh was later asked about the attack backstage during an interview with Cathy Kelley and he said that he wanted to make a statement. Finn Balor was then seen lurking in the background leading to speculation that JD McDonagh could be recruited for The Judgment Day.
The WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that WWE has indeed had discussions about McDonagh joining The Judgment Day. The angle for JD joining the group would be that Finn Balor trained JD McDonagh and taught him how to wrestle.
Do you think JD McDonagh would be a good fit for The Judgment Day? Sound off in the comments below.
