John Cena recently made his return to WWE programming, and although he initially indicated that he wouldn’t be wrestling at WrestleMania this year, his plans quickly changed when he was confronted by The Fiend.
Cena and Bray Wyatt have a long history together, and now they’re set to face off once again at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa.
Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda is reporting that John Cena is one person in the locker room who genuinely believes in Bray Wyatt, and when he dropped to the WWE Title to Wyatt at Elimination Chamber in 2017 Cena requested that Wyatt pin him.
He also requested to be pinned by Wyatt in their rematch on SmackDown which included AJ Styles.
It’s been speculated that John Cena wanted to return to face Wyatt at WrestleMania to help rebuild Wyatt, and that Cena won’t have any problem putting Bray Wyatt over once again at the Show of Shows.
