Backstage News On Original Plans For Friday’s SmackDown From The Performance Center

Last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown took place from the WWE Performance Center and even though the show aired live on FOX, there were no fans in attendance.

Triple H called the action with Michael Cole, but Fightful is reporting that originally there wasn’t supposed to be so much Triple H involvement on screen during the broadcast.

Originally more guests were set to be featured, but Triple H’s chemistry and the reaction on social media caused WWE to make an on the fly call to have him stick around.

It’s also being said that the broadcast was a “feeling out process” and that Monday’s episode of Raw from the Performance Center will be very different.

A crew of dozens was at the Performance Center to prep for the taping.

Several wrestlers who weren’t on the show were brought to the Performance Center.
