Backstage News On Original Plans For Dean Ambrose’s Heel Turn

The Shield is no more. A few weeks ago Roman Reigns announced that he would be taking time off to focus on his battle with leukemia, and later that night Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins won the Raw Tag Team Titles.

However, shortly after they won the belts Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins, and he’s been terrorizing his former brother ever since.

Dean Ambrose’s heel turn was rumored for quite some time, but it looks like WWE had to change plans and make it happen much sooner than intended.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Dean Ambrose’s heel turn was originally supposed to happen much later, and he was supposed to turn on Roman Reigns.

It’s also being said that Dean Ambrose was a likely pick to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but due to Roman’s status that plan is out the window.

Who do you want to see Dean Ambrose feud with when WrestleMania season rolls around? Sound off in the comments below.
