Backstage News On NXT’s TV Deal With Full Sail University

2019 has been a huge year for NXT, as the show expanded to two hours and went live on the WWE Network.

NXT has been going head to head with AEW on Wednesday nights ever since AEW Dynamite launched last month, and while AEW Dynamite airs live from arenas across the United States, NXT has remained at Full Sail University in Florida.

According to PWInsider, WWE remains locked into regular Wednesday night shows at Full Sail University through March of 2020. The company is currently advertising NXT dates at Full Sail through January 29, 2020.

Over the last few months there’s been a lot of talk about WWE possibly moving NXT out of Full Sail, and taking the shows on the road to bigger arenas, but it looks like that’s months away from happening, if WWE decides to go that route.
