A few months ago the NXT brand went through a major change when the show went live on USA Network and expanded to two hours, and it appears that the change resulted in some pay bumps for talents.
Fightful is reporting that several NXT talents were given significant raises when the new TV deal kicked in.
It’s being said that they’re not receiving Raw or SmackDown money, but the raises were “substantial” for those ended up signing them.
Most of the contracts reportedly came with new three year agreements, but not all of the talents who were offered them signed.
When asked about the move to USA last summer, and if talents were receiving raises one talent reportedly said “we’d better be,” and noted that other NXT stars echoed the same sentiment.
However, not everyone signed the new contracts when they were offered.
