We’re on the road to WrestleMania 36 and this weekend The Undertaker is set to face AJ Styles in the first ever Boneyard Match.
This week on Raw The Phenom cut a promo hyping up their rivalry and in the promo Taker said that Styles didn’t have what it took to hang with guys like him, Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero, Booker T and Edge.
Taker then took a shot at Styles by saying that he waited until they were all gone before coming to WWE.
A fan tagged Wrestling Observer writer Dave Meltzer in a tweet and the fan noted that the promo rubbed them the wrong way. According to Meltzer it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way backstage in WWE as well.

The promo gave the impression that the WWE Superstars of today don’t measure up to the stars of the past, and Meltzer noted that Vince McMahon approved every word.
