On Monday night Sasha Banks and Naomi placed their WWE Women’s Tag Team Title belts on the desk of John Laurinaitis then walked out of Raw. The walkout has been a hot topic over the last few days as everyone is waiting to see what type of action WWE may or may not take.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Naomi’s contract is expiring soon, but she’s been in negotiations for a new deal. However, it’s being said that Naomi walking out probably won’t help her situation with the contract negotiations. WWE could also potentially freeze her contract.
Meltzer also noted that if it was a different time WWE would probably fire Sasha Banks and Naomi, but the company doesn’t want them going to AEW. There’s been no word on a possible suspension so the situation is said to be a waiting game now with everyone waiting to see what happens next.
