Mercedes Mone parted ways with WWE in 2022 and she resurfaced last year at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom. The former WWE star went on to become the IWGP Women’s Champion, and it seemed that she had momentum on her side, but she’s unfortunately been out of action for months now due to injury. Recently there’s been a lot of talk about where Mercedes could end up in the future and it sounds like we could be seeing her back on TV sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that Mercedes Mone is expected to return to wrestling March, but not for WWE. It’s being said that Mercedes is planning to visit Japan, but won’t be wrestling, and then she will be making a big return in the United States.
The expectation is that Mercedes Mone has either signed with All Elite Wrestling, or will be signing soon, and that she will be back in front of the cameras by March if not sooner.
Stay tuned for more updates on Mercedes Mone’s status as they become available.
