Backstage News On Match Pitched For John Cena At Money In The Bank

John Cena kicked off his retirement run earlier this year and he’s been on quite the run so far. Cena managed to defeated Cody Rhodes to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41, and he went on to successfully defend his title against Randy Orton recently at Backlash.

We’re only a few weeks away from the annual Money in the Bank premium live event and so far John Cena has not been confirmed for the card. However, it seems that Cena could be competing in an interesting match at the show.

PWInsider is reporting that an idea has been pitched for John Cena to team up with Travis Scott for a tag team, or six man tag team match at Money in the Bank. Travis Scott has been training in the ring with Booker T ahead of the match, and the belief is that he will be available for Money in the Bank next month.

Travis Scott was notably involved in John Cena’s heel turn back in March after Cena won the Elimination Chamber match, and he also helped Cena win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
