The Royal Rumble has come and gone, but the show gave fans plenty to talk about. WWE made history with the Royal Rumble this year as the show emanated from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever, but it looks like the event will be heading back to North America next year.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that the general chatter backstage at the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event was that the show will likely be held in a stadium in the United States in 2027.
There has long been discussion regarding WWE expanding the Royal Rumble premium live event to two nights, but the belief is that the 2027 Royal Rumble will remain a one night show.
Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan both won their respective Royal Rumble matches, and Roman Reigns confirmed on Raw this week that he will be challenging CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Liv Morgan has not yet decided which champion she will be facing at WrestleMania, and she indicated during Raw that she will be heading to Friday Night SmackDown this week before she makes her decision.
