For weeks now Lana and Lashley have been taunting Rusev, and this week Lana made her way down to the ring where she cut a promo announcing that she had filed for divorce, and that she had also filed a restraining order against Rusev.
Lana said that Rusev was not allowed to come “within 90 miles of myself.” Bobby Lashley corrected her, then she laughed and followed up by saying, “I love when he corrects me. 90 days. I mean 90 feet. 90 feet, Rusev.”
She continued to laugh and said that she gets flustered when Bobby Lashley is around.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lana was supposed to say 90 miles, and Bobby Lashley was supposed to correct her. However, she was supposed to say 90 feet right after instead of 90 days. The 90 days line was the only thing was not part of the promo.
It’s also interesting to note that WWE used Lana and Rusev’s real names, Catherine Joy Perry and Miroslav Barnyashev, in the divorce papers that were shown on TV.
