Kurt Angle has reached some major milestones over the last few years. He returned to WWE and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and a few weeks ago he wrestled his farewell match on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 35.
Angle has now reached a different stage of his career, and it was announced that he would be part of Starrcast II in Las Vegas next month, but the former WWE Champion was recently pulled from the event.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has signed Angle to a new deal that doesn’t allow him to do outside events without their permission.
Kurt Angle is also expected to be pulled from his prior agreement with WrestleCade.
Angle hasn’t been a regular on WWE programming as of late, but he’s said publicly that he’s interested in possibly working as a manager in the future.
