WrestleMania 35 is quickly approaching, and fans have made it clear that they don’t want to see Kurt Angle wrestle Baron Corbin in his farewell match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
As soon as Kurt Angle announced Baron Corbin as his opponent for Mania, fans immediately brought up the idea of Cena replacing Corbin.
However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that as of 3/25 Cena replacing Corbin was not the plan.
Originally John Cena was set to work with Lars Sullivan, and then there was talk of him facing Drew McIntyre before Roman Reigns returned.
With next week’s episode of Raw being the last Raw before Mania, there’s been speculation that the show will set up Cena’s match somehow.
