Backstage News On How Vince McMahon Sees The Coronavirus Pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted life for people all over the world, and WWE has had to change how they do business after relocating their TV tapings to the Performance Center in Orlando.

It’s been reported that WWE officials have told talents that they don’t have to work if they don’t feel comfortable, but Vince McMahon has carried on with trying to produce as much content as possible under the current circumstances.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon sees the coronavirus pandemic as an inconvenience because it gets in the way of his vision of what WWE is supposed to be, and his plans.

At this point it’s not clear when fans will be able to attend WWE events, but it was recently reported that the company may have to move SummerSlam.

The event is currently scheduled to take place in Boston on Sunday, August 23, but Mayor Marty Walsh that no parades or festivals will be held in the city until at least 9/7. Walsh also addressed the status of large gatherings when he said, “If your event brings crowds together in close contact, like a concert, a road race or flag raising, you should start look at alternatives now.”
