Bray Wyatt returned to WWE back in October and since then he’s been repeatedly taunted by a mysterious character known only as Uncle Howdy. At first fans wondered if Uncle Howdy could be an extension of Bray himself much like The Fiend was, but the situation has taken a strange turn recently.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Bray Wyatt confronted LA Knight in the ring, and then Uncle Howdy made his way out. Uncle Howdy stood side by side with Bray Wyatt then Uncle Howdy hit him with Sister Abigail. Uncle Howdy was wearing a mask so his identity is still unknown.
Fightful Select reports that the person playing Uncle Howdy is keeping their identity close to the vest. It’s being said that the person behind the Uncle Howdy gimmick doesn’t take off the outfit backstage or in front of other people.
It was announced last week that Bray Wyatt and LA Knight will face off in a Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble in a few weeks, but details regarding the rules for the match have not been announced. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
