Braun Strowman has been hovering around the main event scene in WWE for a few years now, and back in July Braun announce that he had signed a new multi-year deal with the company.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Braun Strowman signed a four year deal believed to be for $1.2 million per year.
It was noted that there are exceptions, but usually the top downside number that WWE offers is $1 million.
Current WWE United States Champion AJ Styles signed for significantly more than that due to AEW.
There are others who are also above the $1 million threshold because they knew how to negotiate, and WWE knew they could make money elsewhere.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson reportedly signed five year deals for $700,000 a year each after turning down a $500,000 per year deal.
