205 Live has come a long way this year. After Triple H took over, the show started focusing less on characters and more on in-ring action.
The change has been a positive one for the brand, and 205 Live underwent another big change when it was moved to Wednesday nights on the WWE Network so that Mixed Match Challenge could take over the show’s time slot after SmackDown Live on Tuesday.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that current plans call for 205 Live to remain on Wednesday nights rather than air live on Tuesday for the rest of the year.
After the last two weeks of the year a decision about the show’s time slot will be made in 2019.
Viewership for the show reportedly increased when 205 Live first moved to Wednesday, but the viewership has dropped over the last few weeks and is said to be very low.
The stars of the cruiserweight division will get their chance to shine on Sunday when Buddy Murphy defends the Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander at TLC.
