Business has been picking up for NXT in recent weeks and on Tuesday night several main roster stars appeared on the show. Former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura showed up as a surprise guest in NXT as he faced off against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
Unfortunately for Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo it was Shinsuke Nakamura who picked up the win on Tuesday night and it looks like the brand hasn’t seen the last of him.
PWInsider is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura is set to make additional appearances on NXT in the weeks to come. However, it’s not clear if Nakamura will be getting a full run with NXT, or if he’ll be moving back to SmackDown.
Prior to his appearance on NXT this week Shinsuke Nakamura last wrestled on TV when he faced Happy Corbin during the September 2 episode of SmackDown. Stay tuned for more updates on Shinsuke’s status as they become available.
