It’s that special time of year when WWE announces their annual Hall of Fame inductees and last week Rey Mysterio was confirmed as the first name for the 2023 class. It was also confirmed a few days ago that The Great Muta will be inducted this year as well.
There are still a few inductees to be revealed, but a few names have been ruled out. During a PWInsider Q&A Mike Johnson was asked if Chyna, Michelle McCool or Umaga could be inducted this year and Johnson confirmed that none of the aforementioned names will be part of the 2023 class when he offered the following response:
“No. WWE has landed on their five inductees and neither of those three are on the list for 2023.”
It was also recently reported that Batista is not expected to be inducted this year, but Stacy Keibler is reportedly going to be part of the 2023 class. The annual WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place after SmackDown on March 31. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
