They say that anything can happen when you watch a professional wrestling show, and this week Ethan Page debuted on NXT when he attacked current NXT Champion Trick Williams.

Following his debut on NXT, Fightful Select is reporting that Ethan Page has indeed signed with WWE. Page was not seen throughout the day on Tuesday and was not present for rehearsals.

It’s not clear at this point in time if Ethan Page was released from AEW, or if his deal with the company simply expired. It was noted that he had told some people in the wrestling business that he was hoping to become a free agent by late spring. Page was reportedly hoping that word of his AEW departure would go under the radar until he appeared somewhere else.

Ethan Page’s deal with WWE was finalized over the last week and he also secretly visited the WWE Performance Center over the last week as well. It’s being said that people in WWE were pleased with his debut, and main roster sources are excited about Ethan Page joining the company.
