After months of rumors, hype and speculation the Rated R Superstar finally made his return to the ring last night when he entered the Royal Rumble at number 21.
Edge had quite the showing in the Royal Rumble, and he ended up making it to the final three competitors before he was eliminated by Roman Reigns.
It was reported a few months ago that Edge had signed a new deal with WWE, and according to WrestleVotes the WWE Hall of Famer signed a three year contract.
Edge recently signed a new 3 year contract with WWE for significant money.

PWInsider reports that Edge signed the new WWE deal a few months ago after some brief talks with All Elite Wrestling.
The former WWE Champion was flown into Houston on a private plane and kept hidden until it was time for him to make his way out for the Royal Rumble.
The plan is for Edge to work special events going forward. He will be used as a special attraction going forward and won’t be wrestling weekly.
Camera crews started filming Edge as soon as he landed in Houston capturing footage for a WWE Network documentary.
