In the world of WWE everybody is trying to make it to the top and it certainly helps when you can move a lot of merchandise. It’s been reported in the past that merchandise sales have been going well for Cody Rhodes ever since he returned and it seems that trend is continuing.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cody Rhodes is now hotting the levels of top tier main eventers as far as his merchandise sales go. It was reported last month that WWE officials have been incredibly impressed with how much merchandise Cody has been selling.
It was also reported that WWE officials feel they have something special with Cody that can be exploited in a good way when it comes to making money and positioning Cody as a top talent.
One way or another there’s no denying that the last few months have been huge for Cody Rhodes as he won the Royal Rumble and he’s currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. It’s expected that Reigns vs. Rhodes will main event the second night of the big show from SoFi Stadium. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
