It’s been an interesting year for The Revival, as it was reported months ago that they requested to be released from their contracts.
Since then they’ve drifted throughout the card, and even managed to capture championship gold.
Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the current plan is to turn The Revival into comedy characters.
The report notes that there’s mixed feelings on the idea backstage, and it still might get shot down, but Dash Wilder tripping and falling on SmackDown last week was supposed to be the start of it.
The Revival have not signed new deals, and they only have a few months left on their contracts.
The current idea is to do a spoof of The Fabulous Ones.
