WrestleMania 41 is quickly approaching and Cody Rhodes is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena on the Grandest Stage of Them All this year.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, multiple versions of the WWE Championship were placed in the ring as Cody Rhodes cut a promo, and he talked about all of the different champions who have held the belt throughout the years. At one point during the promo Cody Rhodes mentioned Brock Lesnar who is rarely referenced on WWE programming nowadays.
Fightful Select is reporting that even though Cody Rhodes mentioned Brock Lesnar on Friday Night SmackDown last week there are currently no conversations regarding a potential return for The Beast Incarnate, and a the idea of bringing him back is not something that’s been considered.
Brock Lesnar last stepped into the ring back in August of 2023 when he was defeated by Cody Rhodes at the SummerSlam premium live event. It was reported that Lesnar was originally set to be part of WrestleMania season in 2024, but he was pulled from creative plans due to the Vince McMahon lawsuit.
Despite the fact that WWE doesn’t seem to have any plans to bring Brock Lesnar back anytime soon, Triple H has insisted in the past that Lesnar is not gone from WWE. Brock Lesnar was recently spotted during his absence from WWE and you can get more on that here.
