Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was eventful to say the least as CM Punk declared that he’s entering the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match and he also signed a deal that will make him exclusive to the red brand.
Seth Rollins has been quite outspoken when it comes to his thoughts on CM Punk in the past and he recently stated that he has real animosity toward Punk. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion confronted CM Punk on Monday night and he called Punk out for slandering WWE then returning to the company and calling it his home. Rollins told CM Punk that he will do everything in his power to protect WWE from people like him. Rollins also looked at Punk and simply told him, “I hate you.”
Fightful Select is reporting that CM Punk’s promo with Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw did not have a producer. It’s also being reported that CM Punk was legitimately listed as a free agent on the WWE internal roster, but most expected him to end up on the Raw brand.
It’s worth noting that no producer was listed for CM Punk’s promo on the 11/27 Raw, or for the 12/8 edition of SmackDown. One way or another it seems that Rollins and Punk are on a collision course, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here.
