Following CM Punk’s controversial comments at the All Out post-show media scrum on Sunday night it was reported that an altercation took place involving CM Punk, Ace Steel, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.
Fightful Select reports that after the media scrum The Young Bucks approached CM Punk’s locker room, but he didn’t answer. It’s being said that The Young Bucks pounded on the door and there are claims that they “kicked the door down.”
Ace Steel’s wife was in the room which is what set Steel off and caused him to throw chairs and bite someone. The claim from Steel’s side is that he was looking out for his wife above everything else.
It’s being said that Kenny Omega didn’t seem nearly as upset initially, but the situation got out of hand and he was bitten. The fight was allegedly a “very long” altercation and the back and forth talk continued after the brawl.
It was rumored that Punk injured his triceps during the brawl, but those close to him say it happened during a dive that took place during the All Out main event. The severity of the injury is unknown at this point in time. However, it’s being said that Punk was hurt going into the backstage altercation.
There are rumors going around claiming CM Punk and Ace Steel are done with AEW, but those close to them haven’t been informed of that at this point. Virtually all of the people from the AEW roster that spoke on the matter said that if Punk and Steel aren’t let go then heavy amends will need to be made.
