Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley are two wrestlers who know each other well. They feuded in WWE, and they clashed once again when they briefly brawled at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas last month.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Chris Jericho had a big part in bringing Jon Moxley to AEW.
He also reportedly helped put the creative together for the angle at the end of Double or Nothing.
When Jon Moxley first joined AEW last month it was reported that the former WWE Champion signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling.
Moxley has become one of the most talked about wrestlers over the last few weeks. He recently won the IWGP US Title, and he’s set to make his in-ring debut for AEW at Fyter Fest on June 29 when he faces Joey Janela.
Chris Jericho on the other hand is refusing to appear at Fyter Fest, but he will be competing in the first ever AEW World Title match when he faces “Hangman” Adam Page at All Out in August.
Tickets for All Out went on sale last week, and sol out in 15 minutes. Moxley is set to face Kenny Omega at the event.
