WWE has released a number of talents in recent weeks, and Chelsea Green happened to be one of the talents that the company decided to part ways with.
Green has launched a podcast, and she’s been keeping busy, but it sounds like she’s already making plans to return to the world of professional wrestling.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Chelsea Green has been in contract talks with Impact Wrestling officials over the last week. However, it was noted that as of Thursday a deal had not been signed.
Green was released on April 15th, and she’s currently under a 90 day non compete clause. She will be free to work with other wrestling promotions on July 14th.
Chelsea Green previously worked as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling from 2016 to 2018, and she is a former Impact Knockouts Champion.
