Cesaro is a WWE veteran at this point, and it was recently reported that he has either agreed to, or signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.
A few weeks ago a gauntlet match aired on Friday Night SmackDown which saw Adam Pearce pick up the victory, but following the match it was Shinsuke Nakamura that fans were talking about.
Shinsuke Nakamura had what’s being referred to as a babyface making performance in the match, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Daniel Bryan originally pitched for Cesaro to be in that spot.
However, WWE went with Shinsuke Nakamura instead because at that time Cesaro had not signed a new deal.
It’s also being reported that Cesaro has been told his role is to make new stars.
