On Sunday night the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match closed the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, and Brock Lesnar made his surprise return.
Lesnar hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35, and he wasn’t previously announced for the match, but when it was all said and done The Beast walked out with the briefcase.
WWE did an angle earlier in the show where Braun Strowman took out Sami Zayn, so essentially Brock took Zayn’s place in the match.
According to PWInsider, Brock Lesnar was hidden from almost everyone while he was backstage at Money In The Bank.
There had been rumors of a Brock Lesnar appearance throughout the day, but no one could confirm he was there.
Only a small group of people were aware Brock was in the building before he made his way to the Gorilla position for the main event.
It’s rumored that Brock will be facing Seth Rollins at WWE Super ShowDown in Australia.
