On Friday night the WWE Draft kicked off, and fans also got to see a surprise appearance from Brock Lesnar. The Beast interrupted Roman Reigns’ promo shortly after the show kicked off, but Reigns isn’t the only Superstar who was interrupted by Lesnar on Friday.
Jeff Hardy was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown last night and as he was about to do a backstage interview he was interrupted by Brock Lesnar, and Hardy backed down then walked away.
PWInsider reports that the segment with Brock Lesnar and Jeff Hardy was pre-taped. Brock Lesnar reportedly left the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD shortly after his in-ring segment with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
It was also noted that while some expect Lesnar to appear on Raw next Monday his status for the show has not been confirmed.
After Brock interrupted Jeff Hardy he cut a promo saying that he is currently a free agent thanks to his “good friend” Paul Heyman, so he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants.
