There was a lot of hype surrounding Bray Wyatt’s return when he made his comeback at WWE Extreme Rules last year and he went on to wrestle his first televised match in some time when he defeated LA Knight at the Royal Rumble in January.
Following the Elimination Chamber premium live event it seemed that WWE was setting up a Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley match for WrestleMania 39, but Bray Wyatt disappeared from WWE programming on the road to WrestleMania, and it was reported that he was sidelined due to a health issue.
Fight Fans reports that Bray Wyatt has been removed from internal run sheets and the plan is for WWE to keep the former Universal Champion off TV until he’s back to full health. It’s being said that at the very least Bray Wyatt’s return is a little while away. It was also noted that plans to reunite Bray Wyatt with Alexa Bliss have been put on hold until the company finds out what the next step is with Bray.
Alexa Bliss has also been absent from WWE programming as she hasn’t competed since she challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble. After the match Uncle Howdy taunted Alexa Bliss, so it will be interesting to see where things pick up once everyone returns. Stay tuned for updates.
