Braun Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, was released from WWE months ago and since then there have been various rumors making the rounds in regards to what’s next for his wrestling career.
Fightful Select reports that while they were unable to confirm whether or not Adam Scherr has agreed to a deal with Impact Wrestling, talents heard about the company’s interest in signing the former WWE star at the last set of TV tapings.
It’s being said that Impact’s interest in signing Scherr is not a secret as the company has been pushing to sign him for over a month. Individuals within Impact believe that the former Universal Champion will sign with the company, but it’s also being reported that he has been in contact with AEW.
Adam Scherr was released from WWE back in June, and he last competed on WWE programming when he faced Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship at the WrestleMania Backlash PPV.
