A few weeks ago Trish Stratus & Becky Lynch lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and after the match finished Trish turned heel when she attacked Becky.
In recent weeks Trish has been taunting Becky by putting up “Missing” posters as The Man had been absent from Raw. On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Trish continued to taunt Becky Lynch as she cut a promo in the ring. However, Becky made her surprise return and attacked Trish Stratus.
After Becky Lynch cleared the ring she got on the mic to cut a promo, but her music hit before she could make her point. According to Fightful Select, Lynch’s mic time wasn’t supposed to be anything substantial, and her feud with Trish is expected to continue for a while.
“Becky Lynch was cut before she could get on the mic. However, we’re told that it wasn’t supposed to be a substantial part of the promo. Fightful was told this program was continuing for quite a while and there’s plenty of time to get that in.”
Following the segment Becky Lynch filmed an angle backstage where she knocked out a production member who was seemingly responsible for cutting her off.
