On Tuesday night the stars of NXT stepped into the spotlight for night one of Halloween Havoc. Becky Lynch defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria in the main event, and it was Lyra Valkyria who picked up the victory to win the gold.
Bodyslam.net is reporting multiple sources confirmed Becky Lynch went into the title match banged up on Tuesday night. However, it’s believed that Becky’s status didn’t play a part in her dropping the NXT Women’s Championship on Tuesday night. The belief is that the loss is not an extension of the arm injury Becky Lynch suffered at No Mercy.
There’s currently no word on whether or not Becky Lynch is expected to miss time in the ring moving forward. One way or another Becky Lynch set out to prove that she was a fighting champion and she did just that as she defended the NXT Women’s Championship multiple times since winning the belt last month.
Stay tuned for more updates on Becky Lynch’s status as they become available.
