Andrade won the WWE United States Championship when he defeated Rey Mysterio at a WWE live event at Madison Square Garden a few months ago, but he’s been off TV recently because he was suspended for violating the WWE wellness policy.
Interestingly enough WWE decided to keep the title on Andrade during his suspension, but it sounds like his title run could be coming to an end soon.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that Andrade’s days as US Champion are numbered, and it’s questionable whether or not he will make it to WrestleMania with the belt.
Andrade’s wellness policy suspension is set to end on February 27, and he’s been announced for the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match at Super ShowDown.
It’s not clear if his suspension played a factor in regards to him possible dropping the title soon.
