The men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches took place simultaneously this year, and they took place from WWE HQ in Stamford, CT.
The competitors started on the ground floor and worked their way up to the roof where a ring was set up with the MITB briefcases suspended above.
When Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio made it to the roof they were thrown off by Baron Corbin.
PWInsider reports that Mysterio and Black were actually thrown into an area of the roof that wasn’t lit, and had a crash pad set up on top of rows of cardboard boxes so that they didn’t have to bump on the roof of the building.
In the end it was Otis who won the men’s MITB briefcase, and Asuka who won the briefcase for the women’s match.
