Over the last few years fans have seen quite a few talents part ways with WWE, but recently All Elite Wrestling star Big Swole issued a statement announcing that she would be finishing up with the company.
Fightful Select reports that Big Swole’s AEW contract was not ended prematurely. It’s being reported that the deal was up at the end of November and that Big Swole’s contract simply expired.
Swole hadn’t wrestled since September, and she had been sidelined from in-ring competition due to some absences in 2021. The former AEW star has been battling Crohn’s Disease and wasn’t at many of the recent TV tapings.
People within the company noted that there isn’t any extensive heat or reason why the two sides would have ended things on bad terms. It’s also being said that AEW has a wave of contracts expiring in upcoming months. Stay tuned for updates.
