This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from Winnipeg and the show featured a segment where The Outcasts made their way to the ring to cut a heel promo. During the promo Saraya took a shot at the crowd when she called the fans, “a bunch of neckbeard stinky tw**s.” She later confirmed on Twitter that she had been fined for saying the word “tw*t” on TV, but joked that it was worth the fine.
Fightful Select reports that Saraya’s tweet about getting fined was legitimate. It was noted that there was a private apology and the proceeds went to AEW Together projects. There was also a mass email that was sent out to talent noting that Saraya had been fined for using profanity and using the middle finger without clearing it with the coach for the segment.
All Elite Wrestling talent have reportedly been discouraged from flipping off audience members and body shaming people in the crowd. This certainly isn’t the first incident involving a wrestler and the audience as MJF recently came under fire for dumping a drink on a fan during the AEW Revolution main event. One WWE Hall of Famer thinks he went too far and you can get more on that here.
