This week’s episode of AEW Collision featured a graphic advertising that The Young Bucks will air backstage footage from All In for the first time on AEW Dynamite this week. The implication seemed to be that The Bucks would be airing footage of the backstage altercation involving CM Punk.
Fightful Select reports that even though many took the graphic as some sort of bait everyone they’ve spoken to about the situation claims that it is genuine. The expectation is that footage from CM Punk’s backstage altercation with Jack Perry will be airing on the show.
Numerous people in the company noted that AEW isn’t going to falsely promote something. Talent and staff who inquired were told that the plan is for the company to legitimately air the footage. It was also noted that legalities don’t appear to be an issue.
The belief among people in AEW who have spoken on the subject is that the video footage was enough for All Elite Wrestling to make a clean split without much of a legal battle.
