MJF has been one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling since the company first launched in 2019, but it’s been a while since fans have seen him on AEW programming.
During Double or Nothing weekend back in May, MJF no showed a meet and greet, and he was defeated by Wardlow at the pay-per-view the next day. Following Double or Nothing he appeared on Dynamite and cut a promo that has since become infamous where he aired his grievances with AEW and called Tony Khan a “f***ing mark.”
MJF has not appeared on AEW TV since cutting the promo, and fans have wondered what could be going on with him as he’s been laying low. Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on MJF and noted that the belief is he’ll be back at some point, but no one knows for sure, and Tony Khan hasn’t told anyone what the plan is.
Following the promo he cut on Dynamite, AEW removed MJF from their official website and his merchandise was removed from their official store as well. MJF has also been quiet on social media in recent months. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
