WWE officials are currently putting together the card for SummerSlam, and there are some big matches rumored for the event. It looks like Roman Reigns could be challenging for the Universal Title, and it also looks like Kurt Angle could be returning to the ring at SummerSlam as well.
Now another big match is rumored for the event as it was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Live that AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura may be added to the SummerSlam card.
Fans have been hoping to see Nakamura and AJ Styles face off ever since both men arrived in WWE, and a potential match was recently teased at Money in the Bank.
AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura previously faced off at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10, and the match was considered to be an instant classic.
Nakamura vs. Styles is a match that’s been rumored to be on WWE’s radar for quite some time now, and it looks like we may see it happen at SummerSlam this year.
