Chris Jericho said some rather nasty things to Shinsuke Nakamura via Twitter this week and now it looks like the two may be on a collision course. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Chris Jericho verbally attacked Shinsuke Nakamura on social media because WWE is looking to setup a match between the two.
WWE is reportedly considering having Jericho and Nakamura face off when the company returns to Japan in July. As of right now two shows are scheduled for Sumo Hall in July, but it’s not known if WWE plans t run another WWE Network special similar to the “Beast in the East” show that aired last year.
Shinsuke Nakamura will make his official debut on April 1 when he faces Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Dallas.
