There has been speculation that Cesaro was booked to lose two straight falls to Dolph Ziggler at Hell In a Cell and to again lose to Dean Ambrose on Smackdown because of some comments he made about John Cena and Randy Orton in an interview.
The comments he made were
“It’s a new era of guys, a new generation and it’s a lot of fun to watch that because they are some fresh match ups. I mean I’m sick of seeing John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the 500th time.”
However, a WWE source says that Cesaro wasn’t being punished for those comments and he has not received any heat. Backstage there was a feeling the comments were taken out of context.
