2017 was a great year for Braun Strowman, as he won the fans over, and now his segments on Raw are some of the most talked about segments in the wrestling world.
Sunday night Braun is set to challenge for the Universal Title when he faces Brock Lesnar and Kane at the Royal Rumble, and it looks like the company already has a plan in place for his WrestleMania opponent.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that current plans call for Braun Strowman to challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
The Intercontinental Title match is expected to be one of the biggest matches at WrestleMania this year, which is why Miz recently defeated Roman Reigns the way that he did on Raw.
However, it’s also being reported that plans could change between now and Mania, as there are people in the company who feel that it’s time to make Braun champion, and that he should win the triple threat match at the Royal Rumble. But coming out of Raw this week it doesn’t seem that Vince McMahon feels the same way.
At this point it seems that the plan is still for Roman Reigns to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Show of Shows in April.
