Backstage News On Billy Corgan’s New Role As TNA President

On Friday TNA made a big announcement when they revealed that Billy Corgan is now the President of TNA. Corgan is replacing former TNA president Dixie Carter who will now act as the Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer for the company.

For those that are wondering, the announcement is completely legitimate and not part of a storyline according to PWInsider.com.

TNA notified their roster and staff on Friday in Orlando and Dixie Carter announced the change. Billy Corgan reportedly received a big round of applause after the announcement was made and he then went on to talk about his goals for the company going forward.

It’s also being reported that the announcement had a positive effect on backstage morale in TNA.

According to the official press release that was sent out on Friday Corgan will be in charge of leading the day to day operations for IMPACT.
