Every wrestling fan knows that WrestleMania is the biggest show of the year, and anticipation for WrestleMania 34 is building as we’re only a few weeks away from the Show of Shows.
Fans can expect to see some big matches on the card this year, but it looks like there are a few things that wrestling fans won’t be seeing at various events during WrestleMania week.
John Pollock is reporting (via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter) that due to regulations imposed by the Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission blood and piledrivers are banned from all wrestling shows in the state.
The commission is set to have a meeting on March 7th to determine whether or not the Canadian Destroyer is considered a piledriver.
It’s been reported that plans still call for The Undertaker to face John Cena at the big event, and despite the regulations, the WON notes that there will still likely be a few Tombstone piledrivers in the match if it happens.
WrestleMania week isn’t just a big week for WWE, as other promotions hold events in the area as well.
With WWE prohibiting blood and piledrivers due to their own restrictions over the last few years, these regulations likely won’t be as much of a problem for WWE as they will for other promotions.
