Ronda Rousey is in the WWE and everyone is excited. But there were several fans who were less than blown away by her time on the microphone. She seemed to stumble around and have a loss for words as if they weren’t given to her.
Rowdy Ronda might be an extremely good actor and planned to come off as an awkward newcomer living her dream and unable to contain her emotion, but others agree she needs a mouthpiece.
Paul Heyman is the best hypeman in the biz, no matter what Mojo Rawley might like to believe. Heyman might also be looking for a new client sooner or later as well if Brock Lesnar goes back to UFC. Naturally, Ronda Rousey would be a great fit as a Paul Heyman Girl which is something fans have said for years.
Dana White recently posted a picture online that seemed to turn rumors of Brock Lesnar’s UFC return to a nuclear level when he sent out a picture of the two of them, and itt was confirmed that Brock met with Dana White on Sunday.
“We don’t know what’s going on with Lesnar,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “But if Lesnar’s gone Heyman with Rousey would be good, here’s the big problem with Heyman with Rousey. Number one Heyman is a heel even though Lesnar is a babyface and he’s been a babyface most of his run. You know even when he was a heel he was really a babyface.”
“The problem is that you’d have Heyman as the mouthpiece against Stephanie, okay?” He continued, “But the key to this angle is this is the remake of the Stone Cold/Vince McMahon angle only it’s with Stephanie and Ronda Rousey. Okay, that’s the idea it may not end up this way because that was magic and this may not be magic but that’s the goal, that’s the gimmick.”
“If your gimmick is that Stephanie is opposing Ronda Rousey and Ronda is gonna get the better of her, I don’t know if they want Paul Heyman in a situation where he’s getting the better of a McMahon. As silly as this is and it’s all fake and it’s all stories and you’re scripting it. As weird as this sounds, and you know what I mean Bryan,” he concluded as he addressed host Bryan Alvarez. “I don’t see them letting [Paul Heyman] be that guy.”
Meltzer went on to say that although all logic might dictate that Ronda Rousey should be placed with Paul Heyman so she can have outstanding promos and the best hype imaginable it won’t happen. It looks like there could still be some pettiness creeping around creative for Paul E Dangerously.
