Snoop Dogg has a history with World Wrestling Entertainment, as he’s made appearances on WWE programming in the past, and in 2016 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
This week Snoop made his debut with AEW when he accompanied Cody Rhodes to the ring for his match against Matt Sydal, and after the match Snoop Dogg hit Serpentico with a frog splash.
Fightful Select reports that WWE has no problems with Snoop Dogg appearing on AEW Dynamite. It was noted that WWE officials expected him to appear on Dynamite to promote his new show.
The feeling backstage is that since Snoop doesn’t have a deal with WWE there’s no reason for the company to have heat with him.
Sasha Banks recently commented on Snoop’s frog splash and you can get more on that here.
